Does Page Journey require an account?
No. There is no sign-in, no email collection, and no account to create. If you have an Apple ID for iCloud sync, that's all you need.
How does iCloud sync work?
Page Journey uses Apple's CloudKit private database. Your library is stored in your iCloud account, encrypted and managed by Apple. CodeCraftedApps has no access to your library — we have no servers.
What if I'm not signed in to iCloud?
The App works fine locally without iCloud. You won't get cross-device sync until you sign in.
Does the App connect to Audible?
No. The optional "Open in Audible" button hands a URL to Safari when you tap it — the App never logs in to Audible, never scrapes pages, and never reads anything back from Audible.
What is the Apple Books lookup?
It's an opt-in helper. When you tap the lookup button, the App queries Apple's public iTunes Search API for a title you typed and suggests a matching title and release month. You decide whether to apply the suggestion. Until you tap, nothing is queried.
How do I add a cover image?
Tap the cover area when editing a book and pick a photo from your library. The image is compressed locally and stored in your private iCloud database. It's never uploaded anywhere else.
How do I mark a book finished?
Swipe leading on the book row in Series Detail and tap "Finished". The series rolls to the next unfinished book by series number and stamps the current month and year on the finished one.
Can I track standalone books, not just series?
Yes. Standalone books are first-class — you don't need a series to add a book.
How do I get upcoming-release reminders?
Upcoming reminders are planned for a future release. They will use local-only date triggers based on the release month/year you enter — no push servers, no background fetch.
Can I export my library?
Export to JSON and CSV is on the roadmap. The goal is that you can always take your library with you.
Will there be a Mac app?
Mac is supported via "Designed for iPad" once iPad polish is complete. A native macOS build is possible later.
How do I delete my data?
Delete records individually inside the App, delete the App from your device, or remove the App's iCloud data from iOS Settings › Apple ID › iCloud › Manage Account Storage.
How do I get a TestFlight invite?
